Sorry to hear you feel that way-but you are entitled to your opinion. I respect the opinions of others, even though I may not agree-just because I have a beer and a smoke and can take care of myself does not make me como un puta or low class any more than the ink some FReeper ladies have does-just ask them-they are right here on this thread, expressing their opinion just as we all are.
As wife to a military officer for many years, I’m as familiar with protocol and proper attire for the officers’ club as I am with my jeans, work boots and working with guys on construction sites-I’m also a college grad with a degree I used until I got tired of being a workers comp case manager. Country girls are taught manners by our parents and we don’t normally turn to drugs or into criminals-but if you want to call us low class, that is your prerogative.
