As a former paratrooper myself, I never knew one who did not drink.
Hell, the Army spent weeks teaching us how to fall down, might as well learn to drink heavily too.
(And, no, of course we mostly did not jump while drunk.)

2017 is also the 100th Anniversary of the 82d ABN DIV.
Another excuse to drink...
