The problem isn't so much Al Gore as it is the protective cocoon the media provide for him so that Al never has to answer to real trained a-political academics, ordinary people like the crabber, or answer for the glaring hypocrisy of his jet-set gas-guzzling lifestyle. He is shielded by a praetorian guard media that throw him softballs and fluff his pillow.
