My favorite Oliver North hearing video - Part 3 of Day 4 Afternoon, 10 Jul 1987. Dick Cheney questions Oliver North and gives him time to talk.

Except for the time YouTube blocked the first video of Oliver North that I put up, all the rest had no copyright claims made until this one. The Orchard has claimed the video content from 2:59-4:23. Apparently they're written up as being a scam. They claim a video and all monies (I never monetize ANYTHING) so that ad revenues go to them. Most people apparently don't dispute, when someone says they back down. Fascinating. I hadn't heard of this before.

I have only one more morning of the 14th to put up. Other than that, I have a tape of the 16th and one of the 17th that I wasn't going to bother digitizing. Cry out if they're wanted.

Also I found one tape of the Clinton Impeachment and put up what was on it of the fact finding start. How can it be so familiar 20 years later?

The earthquake videos are completely up. I'll start looking into the various boxes for any war videos I left out. Other than that, what I have to archive is basically done.

What impresses me most is Ollie’s intelligent, straight forward demeanor. It is really a testament to the quality of the man. Despite it all, I see him as an American hero. His heart was on the right side of freedom for the Nicaraguans.

In one of the videos, he describes the images he can’t show publicly because of a few aerial views that are classified and his description of the torture of the innocents is horrifying. He impresses me a lot.

I am not sure any differences would exist concerning foreign policy. Cheney’s signature is one among the neo conservatives who signed the Project for a New American Century calling for regime change in Iraq.

Thank you ever so much, Mame. That people like it is what makes the work worthwhile. I’m trying to edit hard to keep the tapes as condensed as possible. The latest war tapes are turning out to be 4 1/2 hr long, so there’s still a lot more to come. The Beta III is still looking great. I’ve just seen the announcements that the Iraqi army is leaving Kuwait and hoping that they get out of there without being attacked. Ah, memories.
