Just about. The reasons for these machines is workers comp.
When I was last in business in 05, my workers comp rate was 54% So I paid 54 bucks for every 100 dollars of payroll. With up to twenty people, you do the math.

Very few hand fallers in most parts of the USA anymore.

Am semi retired now and run these machines for companies that need someone to spare off their operators when they go out on vacation and such. That and the woods gets you.
