I’m not sure when they died. I’m trying to remember exactly when SNL began. I wanna say around 1975 or ‘76. All I know is that it no longer appealed to me sometime in very late 70’s or 80’s.

The cast that I remember was Dan Ackroyd, John Belushi, Bill Murray, Garret Morris, Gilda Radner, Larraine Newman, Chevy Chase and Jane Curtain...I think I’ve got the names right...

Yes. I first heard/saw SNL during a summer camp in 1977. That was the crew. The Bad News Bees was the featured skit. 1975 was iirc the first year. I also recall shortly thereafter Ackroyd doing a Carter skit about ‘preparation I for inflation.’
