Instead, the mother-of-two indulged her young children with a visit to a Manhattan Lego store on Saturday.
Chelsea, 37, dressed down for the outing in jeans, a white and blue blouse and some well-worn nude wedges.
She went make-up free and added a bright orange baseball hat to her ensemble.
Clearly relishing the quality time with daughter Charlotte, two, and son Aidan, one, the former first daughter smiled widely as she made her way to the store.

Weren't there two nannies? One to take care of the older girl, and one for the baby? Below is a link to the article that reported while Chelsea was out campaigning for her mother after her 9/11 collapse, one nanny was home with the baby, and the other was photographed out with Mezvinsky, taking the daughter to school. Somewhere along the way he lost the nanny, and went to lunch with a friend.
