I have 4 kids, all raised the same, 3 are very successful and one is a loser no matter what I do. I can’t seem to save him and expect some day I will get this bad news. He is on an unsustainable trajectory.
My family is exactly the same way.
I had three siblings and three of us earned advanced degrees.
One died long term alcohol/drug use.
I am sorry to hear that,seems most familys have one and it doesnt make it any easier.
