Imran Awan worked for Debbie Wasserman Schultz for thirteen years since she came into office in 2004 as a Florida representative. She only fired him this past week and kept paying her “IT expert” even when he was living in Pakistan.
Three Pakistani brothers who managed the IT affairs for several Democratic government officials were relieved of their duties in February on suspicion that they accessed specific computer networks without permission, also known as hacking.
Imran Awan, who started working for Wasserman Schultz in 2005, received $164,600 in 2016, with close to $20,000 of that coming from Wasserman Schultz.
His brother Jamal, who started working as a staffer in 2014, was paid $157,350.12 in 2016. Abid, who started working in 2005, was paid $160,943 in 2016.
Imran’s wife, Hina Alvi, who was employed as a staffer since February 2007, was paid 168,300 in 2016. Rao Abbas was paid $85,049 in 2016.
Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan were barred from computer networks at the House of Representatives in February.
Awan pretended to be his wife when requesting a loan from the Congressional Federal Credit Union and got it! He had the credit union wire $165,000 to PAKISTAN – no questions asked.

The Daily Caller News foundation interviewed multiple current and former Imran tenants about his odd collection of rent.
Cristal Perpignan said Imran instructed her to pay the rent to Imran’s friend, Rao Abbas, a US govt employee, who lived in the basement of the home she occupied.
Abbas was on the House payroll as an IT worker but Perpignan said the tax-paid Abbas spent his days at home in the basement.
I suspect he prefers goats to DWS. He’s probably been blackmailing her and other ‘Rats for years.
If so, Awan sure drove his horses to a very poor market. I highly doubt even Laz would hit that.
And she paid him well too!
Other Hill IT staffers interviewed by TheDCNF said the Awans and their IT friends were often absent from weekly Hill meetings and inter-office email exchanges. The tax-Paid Rao Abbas spent his days at home while cashing US govt paychecks.
One of the Hill staffers said some of the computers the Awans managed for Democrat lawmakers were being used to transfer Congressional data to an off-site server. Some of the Democrat lawmakers were members of key House intl committees.

Shortly after the criminal probe was revealed in February, Imran abruptly moved out of his longtime home on Hawkshead Drive in Lorton, Va, (one of about 12 homes he owned) and listed it for rent on a website that connects landlords with military families.
One of new tenants — a Marine Corps veteran married to a female Navy Officer — said he found “wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner.”

Dementocrat Debbie does not fire Imran when everyone found out he falsified official documents and was billing salaries for people who did not work there.
She does not fire him after his criminal record became public.

She does not fire him after he stole, illegally stored, and illegally destroyed US govt property, in violation of data and equipment laws.
She fires him AFTER he is pubicly arrested trying to flee the country having fleeced the Congressional Credit Union of thousands of tax dollars.

UPDATE-Official documents, court records and multiple interviews suggest the Awan crew may have engaged in government fraud, tax evasion, bank fraud, extortion, bankruptcy fraud and insurance fraud. More alarmingly, money (our tax dollars?) could have been funneled overseas.

Good point. I was going to post “who would want to wake up next to this ugly DWS,” but then I realized—if you are a goat, you cannot take responsibility in any form.
Possible. That and this awan clan probably have compromising info on virtually all of the DNC. Plenty of blackmail and extortion data there to exploit.
I think that DWS and her DNC toadies are more afraid of that information coming to light during a federal investigation than the people who are extorting them.
For the DNC, it’s either the frying pan, or the fire.
