Mike Pence has not helped Trump on Capitol Hill. Does he believe in Trump's message about the deep state and Establishment, which was one of the main talking points of Trump's Campaign? The Establishment wants Trump impeached, and Pence isn't discussing them. I don't think it's a good strategy to not have the VP saying what the president is saying. When George W. Bush was president, Cheney was saying the same thing as Bush on the Democrats, oil, Iraq, war on terrorism. Trump can't take on the Establishment by himself. What good is Mike Pence as VP?

As near as I can tell he has been supportive and is playing the role a Vice President traditionally does: staying on the sidelines and not overshadowing his boss.
One of the things that opened Bush up for criticism was that Cheney seemed to take the lead sometimes.

Trump’s biggest mistake so far, like Reagan’s was picking an establishment GOP VP.
Like Reagan, Trump’s VP is the presumptive nominee for POTUS in 2024 and we need a fearless fighter to finish the job of dismantling the 80% unconstitutional portion for the feds and help restore our Free Constitutional Republic.
He’s not contradicting Trump, but Trump needs him to speak out against the Deep State. Pence also wouldn’t comment on Don Jr.
All talk and no action is not going to kill the Deep State. Most do not understand that this coup has been in the works for over fifty years. Most if not all institutions of government have been compromised. This is war for survival of America. Conventional discourse is useless. The only thing these treasonous bastards will appreciate is a special prosecutor, conviction, and the clang of a sliding cell door closing behind them.
I sure hope Sessions and the President or their trusted staff are following this forum.

Pence probably has back channels to screw over the President. There are no good politicians. They are all out to get Trump. Linda is trying to rewrite the rules as a “check and balance”. How long before the Norks can hit Congress?
I agree. Pence is tip toeing through the tulips and obviously looking out for himself first. That’s not how you serve a POTUS.

Pence’s value is to share the duties of the office, and to provide a semblance of balance between the two extremes of the GOP. It’s not primarily his job to act in defense of the president on all topics. That’s what people like KellyAnne Conway, Mattis and to some degree Sarah Sanders are for.
Someone like Mitch McConnell may have some ‘splainin to do.
