Supposedly a Miss State fan was the main driver in investigating Freeze leading to his de facto firing. Except for making news like this nobody outside the state of Mississippi cares about this rivalry because usually the Egg Bowl is between two crappy teams for nothing of significance except for alumni bragging rights.

The Old Piss supporters are mad because it was a State fan that pointed out the shenanigans of Hugh Freeze - and like the dem email saga, they didn't scream about the illegal deeds perpetrated by Freeze and his staff, only that a State guy brought it to light.
