I have a Ugandan acquaintence who I jokingly asked if he wanted to go swimming during the recent heat wave. His First reaction was “ why do you want to execute Me?” When I explained I was only trying to be considerate, he asked how big are the crocs in the Schuykill. I gave up. I was on a military mission in Africa, asked my driver about his experience with malaria.
He told me about his story, and of course how everybody in his country gets malaria.
A couple days later he asks me about where I am from. I told him it is much like his country. Hot, humid, mosquitoes... He stopped me to ask why, if we had mosquitoes, I asked him about malaria. He could not understand that our mosquitoes don't carry malaria.

They put in way after the dams. I think this happened on the day before we went tubing last year on the Muskegon. They were all the talk among the tubers.

It was only when it started to get dark and their car was nowhere to be found that the women, who didn’t have a phone on them, decided to get out and wait for help on the riverbank. Nobody brought their ObamaPhone?!!!
