I have to admit-he has them spitting and dribbling on themselves. I have never seen the media so vitriolic. And after having lived through the Nixon, Reagan, and Bush Presidencies and being able to clearly remember and understand them, that is saying a lot.
They simply are not used to someone who actually swings back. Like the bullies they are, they get unhinged when someone fights back. They are used to having them curl up in a fetal ball, issue abject apologies, or both.
It is remarkable. I detest the fetal ball/abject apology approach, because as even liberals crucified by fellow liberals (Paula Deen) know, it doesn’t get you into their good graces.
If you reach the point of issuing an apology, your scalp is already at the end of their lance.
And fetal ball/abject apology only elicits more of it, like some twisted liberal form of extortion. And then when you are done making a fool of yourself, you will end up being far worse off than if you had told them to go stuff it.
I am all for the “go stuff it” approach.
