I wonder how the breaking of the Concordia is progressing. She should be just about down to the keel by now.
seems like a waste of valuable dry dock space to break it this way. I love how they do it at Brownsville: wench the ship up on shore bit by bit, put a dozen guys on hacking it apart into giant pieces with HUGE acetylene torches, drag off the pieces, wench some more and repeat until all gone.
Pretty much the only facilities needed are some slips dug into the dirt, a couple of cranes and some bulldozers.
