Don’t remember that. She’s a wondrous human being, as well as being a brilliant computer scientist. My husband worked for her for a while. I knew her because of my computer association work. I chaired the programming languages group. She was an IBM Fellow and won the Turing Award. She was married to Jack Schwartz once, who is also interviewed. I LOVED the background I set up for her. Thought she looked beautiful. The end of the video shows 2 of the steadicam shots. She didn’t have time to memorize her lines and did it on the spot before each take. The result was that she was panting just from the stair climbing and walking. They parked me off on the side with a remote TV to see the camera feed. A steadicam operator can’t work 2 full days in a row because of the body stress, and they have to work out to be able to wear the rig. While she memorized her lines, the rest of the crew were trying on the rig and no one could really carry it. The weight’s in a tough spot. Everybody had on heavy batteries which went out CONSTANTLY and we were always having to stop in the middle of a take to change somebody’s batteries.
