From what I've read, the Amazon warehouses work their people like dogs in a high stress environment. It's not the same Amazon like you see in Silicon Valley where workers skateboard around the campus, have gourmet chefs in the cafeteria and get to bring their dogs to work while sitting in beanbag chairs.

It's like what I told my son when he applied for a job at the Apple Store down at the mall. This isn't the same Apple of Cupertino. No!

There's lots of lousy jobs out there, somebody will take it......

The last time I was in an Apple Store, the workers seemed quite content and upbeat.

I've never been in an Amazon Store, so I don't know if their workers are happy. But I do buy plenty of stuff from Amazon.
