Lillies and garlic are bulbs, bulbs are not grasses

When we lived near DeFuniak Springs, wild onions were common. They were tasty but it took a lot of them as they were around the diameter as a nickel.

If cows got into them, it would flavor the milk and make it undrinkable.

The core of every grass blade is a similar layered small bulb like garlic.
