Only by morons who have no idea how to cook. If you can't make tilapia palatable you couldn't make eggs palatable, either, and have no business in a kitchen. Fresh tilapia, which is what we have here in Florida, tastes a bit like chicken, only softer. It's not fishy; and its texture is akin to young flounder.

Going to have to agree. Coat them in butter, then Progessive Italian bread crumbs and hot pepper. If one does not know how to cook fish, no fish is going to be good. Just have to wonder what some the gourmets on are doing.
