If Peru can jail and prosecute ex-presidents for crimes committed in office why can't we. Brazil and Argentina are also doing this.

It sounds like some of the Latin American countries are getting serious about prosecuting abuses of power in office.

We used to think that we were the pathfinders in government, while they were hopelessly bureaucratic and corrupt. Perhaps we're switching roles.
