First Lady Melania Trump radiated atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, where she and President Donald Trump ate dinner Thursday night with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.
Melania, always one for custom-made high fashion frocks, wore a bespoke Hervé Pierre red, white and navy blue cocktail dress for the formal dinner, paired with black stilettos and perfectly tousled hair.
The dress takes inspiration from the Americana and French flags, but also is unusual in its bodice origami-like detailing, which resembles a basket of wheat.

While the leaders and their wives/grannies feasted on gourmet fare in the tower, the American press was treated to pizzas and cola. And they weren’t happy about it. heh
I suppose they felt like they were entitled to grown-up food.
Act like kids, get treated like kids you stinking gerbalists.
Don’t love that frock, but Mrs. T. is OK by me. She’s a lovely woman who clearly loves her husband, dotes on her son and is doing her best to be FLOTUS of her adopted nation.
She must be rich.
Ah. Just delightful!! What an old-fashioned look. Ok. I like this dress almost as much as her inauguration suit with hat and gloves.
I know. Remember when women used to sew? This is a dressmaker’s dress. It reminds me of Dior in the fifties—crinoline skirts.
