My house sits at a T intersection, but I have been extremely fortunate that no one has ever plowed into it. If a vehicle did, it would most likely hit my bedroom and possibly the guest room next to mine. Luckily, the street that “ends” at my house is pretty short, so hopefully no one really has enough space to get up to dangerous speeds.

If I were the family you mentioned I would have long-since moved. The broken legs would have done it for me; they’ve been hit three times since then. It makes you wonder what the heck they’re waiting on. Maybe a broken neck? Sheesh.

They tried to sell after the second collision but no one would buy.
Small city and everyone and their cousins knew the history.
This was before the yankee invasion.

A State Trooper finally bought the place.
Nothing like a blue and grey full wrapper to get your attention.

When they built there it was a nice quiet neighborhood. But several traffic light additions later their street turned into a convenient short cut.
Lots of people still use it as ap short cut.
