They’re welcome to continue their quest for the ‘perfect man’. As to myself, I (like many other conservatives, and particularly FReepers) went halfway around the world to find my ‘perfect woman’...which is a woman who comes from a culture where divorce is looked at as failure by friends and family, rather than an enrichment scheme. A culture where the wife understands that the person who wears the pants in the family is the one with the higher income (usually the male, in my case). And lots more, that we all used to take for granted...but now doesn’t even exist in Western Culture.
I do feel sorry for the guys that think they can find the ‘perfect’ American woman...yes, a few do exist, but a lot more will seem ‘perfect’, until they have you where they need you.
So, as we tell our kids, do not waste your time in this half of the planet, you will only be cleaned out, unless you are very, very, lucky. Look East...there’s loads of opportunities, for people (particularly women) who still believe in traditional values!

You only get that in countries where the laws are such that divorce does not turn into "cash and prizes" for the woman. If you brought that foreign spouse into the US, that would change. Immediately. Women ALL OVER want to maximize their security.
Women appreciate their men the most, in countries where security for a woman comes ONLY from having a man willing to take care of her.
