You can say that again. Our nation doesn’t expect much of us. Serving on a jury when called is the least we can do.
I would love to do my civic duty and sit on a jury. But I have little children and now a senior mom with Alzheimer’s so if I could get out if it I would. I know I can’t, so I do pray not to be chosen. One day I would be proud to do my civic duty. It’s not about how serving would affect ME, its about those I have to scramble to find alternate care for.
