As a Trekkie, I was never a Star Wars fan.
Overall, 1977 was a lackluster year that really didn’t offer anything. Van Halen was recording their first album but it didn’t hit the market until Feb ‘78.
I’m a Trekkie as well.
Star Wars was cool, but only for the special effects in the first 3. The later movies suck.
