It does appear that the Media has scrubbed the reference to him flying on a “companion ticket”. A blogger still has a reference to having seen it on NBC; I don’t recall if that (NBC, not the blogger) is where I spotted it yesterday.
In any event, I can’t find that information anywhere today. But that’s why folks are focusing on his mother working for Delta.
