Poland's President Andrzej Duda ripped "fake news" reports that his wife snubbed President Trump for a handshake during Trump's visit to Poland on Thursday.

In a tweet, Duda confirmed that both he and his wife shook hands with the president, and urged his followers to "fight fake news" together.

"Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit," he wrote Thursday evening. "Let's FIGHT FAKE NEWS."

In video taken of the event Thursday, President Trump initially shakes hands with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Trump then appears to put his hand out to shake first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda's hand, but she walks past him to shake the hand of Melania Trump.

Afterward, the Polish first lady proceeded to shake President Trump's hand. The interaction occurred as Trump visits several European countries ahead of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany this week. Video of the event that didn't show Trump's eventual handshake with the first lady went viral on Twitter, and was posted by several journalists.

It’s like the old establishment lame-stream media don’t even care how stupid they look any more.

It’s like they never heard of this thing called ‘the internet’ where people can find out they are lying within minutes.

Trump gives a magnificent speech channeling JFK. The crowd is chanting “USA! USA!”

Media falsely reports handshake snub. This is beyond sad.

They need to call out these "reporters" by name. Along with their email address, home address, and other details.

This crap cannot continue without consequences.

Yes! The effort has already begun (by 4chan and/or reddit?) for CNN. Time to kick it up a notch and demand accurate reporting by all news organizations... or else.

I’m frustrated that we’ve let them get away with lying for decades without any push-back. Most of the time we’ve had no power to respond, but with social media and the Internet in general we do! It’s just a matter of getting organized, and never letting up on them. Make it hurt. They target the families of good people; we need to target personal lives. It’s fair.

True. They have simply reduced themselves to flinging any poo they can find or make up and toss it against the wall in hopes that something will stick.

When I was a kid, I used to get the "Star" newspaper. In those days it featured more than celbrity gossip. In fact, a Steve Dunleavy article I read at 11 in the Star alerted me to Ronald Reagan and helped begin my formal conservative journey.

Anyway, every Decemberthe Star would print Jeanne Dixon's predictions for the upcoming year. Every year they were hilariously wrong. I saved the predictions issue one year to confirm. It never stopped her from continuing, and it never stopped the Star from paying her. There is a similar relationship between Dick Morris, Jennifer Rubin, Bill Kristol and their employers.

Good God. Just the fact that the Whitehouse or its allies has to even address such nonsense is insane.
