A dog's keen sense of smell reunited a long-lost cat with his owner.
Shelly Colette was out for a walk with her dog, a border collie Labrador mix named Cash, in New Brunswick, Canada. When Colette and Cash passed by a storm drain, Cash stopped and "refused to move," The Star reported.
When Colette peered down the grate, she spotted a cat. It turns out his name was Ghost, and he had been missing for six weeks.

These dogs are the ones I love, unlike like the last dog pack that met the Mini-14 while trying to kill my back 40 cat.
I love and had both dogs and cats and they were always good friends.
When I was a kid, we had the best dog one could imagine. Old Richard was know far and wide as the best squirrel dog in the county. I really loved that old dog. You absolutely could not make him bite.
He had one fault. He hated cats. Sometimes my Brothers and Sisters would try to make him and the cat be friends. We would hold the cat up to him and try to pet them both.
One could tell Richard was about to lose control and finally he just could not take any more. He would suddenly take after the cat, barking, growling, and put him up a tree.
Ghost received his name because of his notorious elusiveness. He was once found inside a wall and it took nearly a month to catch him.

Something tells me we may be reading about this cat again.
I was expecting the cat to be white, but that’s not why he’s called Ghost!
“Ghost received his name because of his notorious elusiveness. He was once found inside a wall and it took nearly a month to catch him.”
I had a stray cat that consented to living indoors at least for awhile every so many days.
But he could find some good hiding place indoors, I’ll say that. He could also open a simple door from the inside (turn the door knob and pull it open from underneath).
Now that’s sick — I love it. :=)
I had to wait to stop laughing before I could tell you I am SO gonna send that one to some peeps I know
That’s a riot!
Good Dog
It's beyond sick. It's inhumane.
It would only be inhumane if it were for real.
We were due for a good dog (and cat) story.
Good dog! nice kitty!
I had a dog named Pooper and a Maine-Coone cat named Andee.
Pooper LOVED Andee and was constantly slobbering and chewing on him to the point we would have to cut much of Andee’s beautiful mane off because it was constantly matted with Poopers’ saliva.
