Both songs done well. It appears (from YouTube) that practically everyone has done their version of Lavender Blue...including Burl Ives and Michael Jackson.

Several different forms of Lavender, this could be what is called, FRENCH LAVENDER...
At least that is the name of one similar that I purchased years ago..stronger smell than lavender.

Looks like lavender. If it is, it should smell like lavender.

Read much obscure Science Fiction do you?Yes I do. They have a very nasty sting and were particularly bad in Trafalgar Square. Rumor has it that they are a perfect genetic match to Hillary Clinton but I must confess they are much more attractive. :)

I don’t know maybe . That’s another cultivar of English lavender so it will be very similar if not exact.
You could check the nurseries around you and see what varieties they grow. Even if the cultivar is a little different they will still look nice together. Make sure you label the ones you buy so you don’t forget .You will be able to tell if you picked the right cultivar when they flower.
You can grow more plants real easy though.
Cut the stems , strip the bottoms leaves off , cut off the top with the flower and dip it in rooting hormone (if you can’t find rooting hormone dip it in cinnamon ) stick it in a pot of lightweight potting mix with a little extra perlite added to it and a little bit of compost if you have it . The potting soil has to drain well but you need to water it often . It roots easy . You can start a bunch of them in the same pot . As soon as you see roots in the bottom of the pot (look in the drain hole ) divide them into into their own pots or put them in the ground and water them .

My guess: sea-lavender, statice, caspia or marsh-rosemary.
