Why? I’m a woman and see no reason to have an extra special museum just for women. Same as the Black History one for obamy. Total waste of money.
The only benefit I see is that the director, vice-director, and next twenty curator-managers....will all be women. I’m not sure about the black, Indian, and aviation Smithsonian museums....but I’d take a guess that they are 80-percent male-run.
Let’s just keep deliberately sharpening the divides in America. What could go possibly wrong?

I’m with you on that bgill. I’m also sick and tired of special treatment of ANY race, sex, sexual preferences as well as someone who wakes up on any given morning and deciding what they will be that day......man or woman.
Besides, the Women’s Museum will have to be closed five days every month due to cramps.
