I haven’t drank any since the early 1980’s, but I’ve never forgotten the experience. I was in Athens Greece while in the Navy.
In my experience, Ouzo stays in the system for quite a while.
I recall drinking on a Friday, recovering on a Saturday, then as soon as I drank a lot of water on Sunday, I felt drunk again. Maybe I should have eaten more at the start. I don’t know what’s really in that brand, although there are rumors.
