One of the greatest violin pieces ever. Even if you don't like violin music you will LOVE this. What makes it interesting is he plays it 12 years apart so you can hear how he improved on himself. Kreisler also wrote this music.

I used to go every week to the Boston Symphony with my Aunt, back in the 50s. Fritz Kreisler was invited to play with them just about every year, as I recall, and this was one of the pieces that he played. As you say, he played the violin with absolute beauty.
