Same thing with the adventure train ride:
previously you’d see an angry Rhino had “treed” two British explorers in pith helmets.
the angry Rhino would raise his horn in attack and the frightened two explorers would both respond by fearfully trying to scooch up the tree a bit more.
there’d be a pause and you’d see another instance of exactly that, again.
then a much longer pause and you’d see a reversal; another Rhino had done that to two African pygmies, who for their turn who now were also up a tree..!

It’s the same thing why comedians won’t permit won’t perform on college campuses these days:
a lot of people are walking around, actively LOOKING to be offended. In the old days to show virtue you had to work hard and create a vaccine, or rush a machine gun nest full of bad guys or something. But these days they have the “virtue drive-thru window” where you just act really mad about something.
this actually is good news for our side because it’s very difficult to market stupid ideas from people who don’t enjoy pleasure, who don’t enjoy a lot a good laugh.
The heavyset woman chasing the skinny pirate was always a funny moment in the ride. I haven’t been to Disneyland lately; I wonder if it’s still there? If so, it’s probably going to be removed, as well, I imagine.

Nope, it is gone. I was there about 5 years ago and was looking forward to seeing it. I was so disappointed it was gone. It was funny.
