My first computer was a Mac Plus, then I upgraded to a Mac Classic. Later I had a used IIfx, and a Mac Performa. All of them served me well, but then I got a job that required me to have a Windows machine, so I bought a Dell and “used” it for a pain filled, exasperating, and tedious year. I lost count of the times it crashed, overheated, of just stubbornly refused to boot. Ultimately, I junked it, got an iMac in 2009, which I am still using now. You might be able to pay me to keep a PC in the house, but I will just use it for fun. They are useless for serious work.
Here’s who - someone that has used and enjoyed/understood Windows up to and including Windows 7 (which he still likes). Someone that buys a Windows laptop with 8.2 on it, hates it, and 6 months later, buys a MacBook Pro!
Moves up to 10 on the laptop, but too late - has grown to like the Mac interface. Still has the desktop with Win 7 though, as it is a logical operating system, not a playskool makeover.
