No, they are not “Lowest Forms of Life” They are simply “television personalities” playing roles so people will watch them, and their commercials, and their network will make money from selling that commercial time.

Their words are often their producers, whispered in their earbuds, not theirs. They are simply the 21st Century version of Peggy Cass.

That said, the President makes a huge mistake in calling attention to them. For the past 6 days, the lead story was CNN and their fake news. By this morning’s tweet, Mr. Trump has changed the topic back to his tweets and taken the heat off CNN.

Mr Trump is a great man, has 35% who will always love him, 35% who will always hate him, but since the election, he is tone deaf into how to attract the other 30%.

Great leaders sometimes have significant moral failings. Examples include Martin Luther, Winston Churchill, and many others.

I'm very glad that we have Donald Trump instead of Hillary Clinton. The world is a better place because of it. But that doesn't mean that we should be an echo chamber praising everything that he does and says. Society takes note of its leaders, for good or for ill. If we endorse the bad along with the good, we lessen the impact for good that such leaders make on our world.

I'm thankful for Donald Trump, but I don't worship him. He was wrong. We don't need to endorse wrong actions. We shape the future by our responses. I don't want my grandchildren to emulate everything that President Trump does.
