Note that Trump was interviewed about this a few days after and I posted a thread about it. In the interview, Candidate Trump said he would insist first that the Rule of Law be followed but that he could have solved to whole ordeal with a short simple phone call.
He also remarked that the whole situation was in the context of a land grab, that farmers and ranchers had grievances with the BLM. Donald was magnificent in that interview and showed clearly that as President this kind of situation would never have happened.
