As a reading experience, good. On tv, bad ... because it’s another reason for children not to pick up a book.

I like the concept, though. One of our family pastimes is alternate histories. What if “this” went differently? Then what? It makes everyone think.

There is actually a history book about 5 or so different events where had the outcome been different, how would the world today would be different. I bought it as a gift for a history teacher I once worked with and he thoroughly enjoyed it and actually used it with his classes.
