ABC aired a promo for a show about a fictional president being shot during their much hyped interview with Donald Trump last night.
The clip is a promo for episode 11 of the ABC show Designated Survivor, in which Kiefer Sutherland plays an obscure cabinet secretary who is unexpectedly thrust into the presidency after an attack at the capitol during a State of the Union address.
The scene shows the fictional president attending the swearing in of a Congressman before a gunshot is heard and panic ensues.
Who took the bullet? asks the promo before the scene cuts to a hospital as surgeons operate on the victim.
Viewers did not find out in the previous cliffhanger episode if the president in the show was shot or if someone else took the bullet, although the implication that the president could have been the victim is clear: https://www.infowars.com/abc-airs-promo-for-show-about-president-being-shot-during-trump-interview/

John Wilkes Booth was a 19th Century Hollyweirdo. Seems these show people tend to like the idea of assassination.
That movie was released in 2013.
TBS is trying to be “edgy” these days, but playing the destruction of the White House and the kidnapping of the President for laughs is not edgy and not funny.
The link for the promo is listed under “thecomedyfestivaltv”.
The 2013 movie was a serious “action” movie, not a comedy, starring Gerald Butler of 300 fame.
It is TBS that is re-purposing the movie as a comedy vehicle.
TBS is an entirely comedy network. Why are they playing this particular action shoot-em-up?
Saw it - it is not a small thing. Don’t be surprised if you see a boycott. Sell your stock in whatever media monopoly owns TBS.
I don’t blame TBS. They’re just a bunch of morons who think Conan O’Brien is still funny, fercryinoutloud.
They are trying to gin up controversy and a boycott, so they can grab a 0.25% market share, which is how they define success.
You cannot successfully boycott an outfit that is happy to get one in four hundred people as customers.
Now a Secondary Boycott of the advertisers for tonight’s showing of the movie might show more promise...
How is this and the rhetoric crap from the rest of the rats any different than yelling fire in a crowded theater? Putting ideas in thier zombie followers is thier hope
I believe the media monopoly that owns TBS is Turner Broadcasting, the same fine folks who bring you CNN.
TBS is an acronym for the Turner Broadcasting System.
I think you are right.
The Left in this country is trying to normalize political assassination and make it acceptable to the masses.
A non-insignificant portion of the population saw the news stories on the ballfield shooting of those Republican Congressmen, and thought to themselves “This is a good thing”.
We all know people like that.
There are more of them, every day. This is not an accident, but rather part of a strategy. This “comedy” presentation is part of that general pattern.
In the days after the Lincoln assassination the government actually investigated real conspiracies rather than ignoring the real ones while making up phony ones.
If our current “intelligence agencies” went back in time they would be trying to find John Wilkes Booth’s secret ties to the Czar.
Read anything written about psychology from 1963 - 1970, after the Kennedy assassination, and it is all about the violent sociopathic mind.
People tied themselves in knots for a decade trying to explain to themselves how somebody could shoot Kennedy, rather than just owning up to the fact that Oswald was a Communist, and Communists use violence for political purposes.
The leftist media tried to incite someone to assassinate Bush, too. With Reagan, they only engaged in over-the-top fear-mongering.
It is only when there is a Democrat president that they suddenly take the presidency seriously. Then, something as innocuous as a rodeo clown wearing a mask is a serious threat, according to the hypocritical left.
You have to think that the vast majority of normal people in this country look at this “assassination chic” nonsense and are repelled.
But fewer are repelled every day.
