Maybe you saw the insane numbers? Eighty-five degrees at seven in the morning, 119 degrees by noon (in June!), planes unable to fly in the heat, tap water coming out hot, pavement so boiling it instantly destroys skin, jokes about but its a dry heat getting immediately annoying, millions of people wondering, for the umpteenth time, why the hell they live in Phoenix anyway and hey isnt South India pleasant this time of year?

He’s got the vapors. Bad. I hope he’s close to his fainting couch.
Poor little snowflake is melting in Phoenix. It is like this never happens. Same thing happened in Phoenix last year on the same date according to Rush.
Does he want to ban Air Conditioning to save the Planet too?
It is going to be in the 70’s here in the STL this weekend. Low in the 50’s overnight on Saturday. WX is cyclical, but Morford knows that..
It’s called Arizona for a reason.
I’m more concerned about our LOW... dang it, it might be 79 and shucks I’m old.
I told my fishing buddy that I would get a Window unit... Hell it’s just June...
Pays to stay well hydrated (but that window unit is starting to sound good)
Gee. It was only 107 here today. That’s not unusual for Texas though......
I live here. It was no big deal. Hot, yes! But the highways were a dream...I didn’t have to fight any traffic, my house didn’t burst into flames..and I absolutely LOVE this place!
Heatstroke
It sounds like he’s writing about Phoenix in June.
They say Phoenix is warmer in the summer than it is in the winter.
weather service shows 109 at noon and a high of 114. Slightly above normal.
I have heard that..
I don’t even like to visit there this time of year. Any interruption to electrical power and/or pressure-delivered water and... You’re dead.
Where I am it can get up over 110 but a big river with 68 degree water is one mile away.
Well, it is more than obvious that President Trump had better get over there and sign that Paris Accord so Phoenix can get some relief.
OR maybe we can get the MSM & POLS to STF for awhile to give things a chance to cool down.
Same old ‘Wish in one hand and Shiite in the other and see which one fills up fastest’

This joker is still around?
We were at 85 at the hottest here in Western Pa today.....so I’m not going to complain one bit!
hey morford- I was out in Utah in 1993 I beleive it was- I was broke down after a 3 car accident- had to walk several miles to a hotel- it was 114 or so for a week 1/2 steady- and that was during the period when Satellite data showed NO global warming for 20 years-
So morford- what’s your point? That the US has never seen extended hot spells before? “Unprecedented”? Sorry- been there done that- The earth always has and always iwll experience spells of high heat- And I’m willing to bet if you look at the records, you will see high heat spells way back when as well-
Did you think we wouldn’t check or something morford?
