If you have driven SoCal freeways, you would know that the car illegally crossed over into the HOV lane, possibly startling the rider that suddenly saw a car coming at him and pinching him into the wall.

The car driver screwed up and crashed all on his own, just how is this a hit and run? Bike did not run into the car, car tried to run into him and screwed up.

ALL participants in an accident are required to stop, regardless of who caused the crash. Anyone who takes off is in violation of the law. Depending on severity and other factors, this could lead to a misdemeanor or felony charge, with fines and up to 3 years in jail.

The biker and the driver should share a cell. They both deserve it.
