Rep. Filemon Vela (D-TX) said on Fox News on Thursday that Democrats could not win back the House of Representatives with Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as their leader. In the context of winning in 2018, and taking the majority, I think it is pretty clear that Leader Pelosi does not help our candidates in those swing districts that are so necessary for us to win in 2018, Vela said. Vela also stood by his previous comments in which he labeled anyone who thought the Democrats could take back the House under Pelosis leadership an idiot. I think that if we are going to win, if were going to regain the majority in 2018, we have to have new leadership, Vela concluded. Pelosi has come under increasing criticism from fellow Democrats following Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoffs loss to Republican Karen Handel on Tuesday. Throughout the special election, Republican groups successfully tied Pelosi to Ossoff, convincing the Republican-leaning district to reject him.
Lil’ Filemon is obviously anti-Woman.
Leave Nancy alone.
Stop worry about winning and just enjoy the fray—Nancy is having a great time, dontyaknow?
Polosi is a terrific leader and legislator. Please, allow her to lead.
Pelosi’s two accomplishments, beyond helping murder millions more innocent babies ...
1. falsifying the paperwork certifying Obama’s “eligibility”
and
2. deceitful mis-use of power and suberstion of our representational system of governmance) in forcing Obamacare down our throats
both displayed and relied upon serious character flaws, and both led to disaters for America and our society
... yes, it is well past time for the D’s to replace Pelosi if they ever want to win anything much again
Nancy Pelosi is the voice of the poor, just ask them.
You can’t get rid of the voice of the poor, that’s like killing a baby.
This is what happens when Botox pickles a brain from chronic abuse.
Nancy Pelosi represents San Francisco values i.e. rich white homosexuals. As long as she is the house minority leader, the issues that are important to rich white homosexuals will be foremost among her legislative priorities. I don’t see how that kind of an agenda wins votes for Dems in the bible belt and the the rust belt. She effectively undermines the “blue wall” electoral advantage that Dems were bragging about prior to November 8, 2016. That being the case, I hope Nancy continues to be the guiding hand behind the Democrat party for many years to come.
I love hearing them complain that they need younger leadership. They have been killing most of their babies for over 40 years, it’s not much wonder they don’t have any young leadership.
“They have been killing most of their babies for over 40 years, its not much wonder they dont have any young leadership.”
Good point.
When your enemies start shooting at one another - let them!
Have to scapegoat poor Nancy
Can’t be their left wing policies
Not only is she a creaker-jack legislator and unspiring orator, she is also adurable and coddly. No way should they ride her out on a rail. The b!tch stays.
KEEP NANCY!
March for Nancy.
Just for fun, I’ll repeat my prediction:
1) Ousting Pelosi because of her horrendous performance in winning elections will give Republicans SATISFACTION.
2) That cannot be permitted - it is better to stay as a useless opposition party, than to allow Republicans to claim a victory (that is the Democrat mindset). So how can she be ‘removed’, gracefully?
3) Answer: She ‘retires’ at the end of this term (end of 2018) - that gets announced in a few months. But...key thing here, but she then ‘decides’ to leave several months earlier, say August 2018.
4) Reason: By leaving before campaign season, Republicans don’t get to stick her around the necks of every the Democrat in every competitive district. By announcing her ‘retirement’ soon, she can claim that moving it up by a few months is ‘old news’.
Let’s see what happens...
Nanzi IS The best thing for the Democrat Party! Leave her Alone! She Is Needed!
Don’t blame poor old demented Nancy; that’s the most sexist attach that has ever been. Nancy perfectly articulates the party line and follows it to a ‘t’. What’s not to like demonrats?
This is simply proof of the old statistical adage "correlation doesn't prove causation". The problem here is that the Democrats Cant Win House withOUT Nancy Pelosi as Leader, either.
I was going to say shh, let them learn the hard way but hell I think they just did.
