Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I) says President Trump is likely to win reelection in 2020 because Democrats will be hamstrung by the deep fissures between the liberal and moderate wings of the party.
Speaking Tuesday night before Republican Karen Handel claimed victory over Democrat John Ossoff in a special House election in Georgia, Bloomberg stood by his previous statement that Trump has a “55 percent” chance of winning reelection.
“The incumbent always has an advantage,” Bloomberg told CNN.
“And the Democratic Party is going to be torn apart by the left and the centralists,” he continued. “Now, the Republican Party is also being torn apart between the centralists and the hard right, but they've rented a candidate. The candidate has rented a party, and they will probably without much fuss get behind Donald Trump, I would assume, assuming he runs for reelection.”
Democrats are struggling to turn the energy from the their grassroots base into electoral victories. Many in the media cast Tuesday night’s special election in Georgia as a referendum on the Trump presidency. The GOP candidate triumphed in what ended up being the most expensive House race in history.
Republicans have now won all four special House elections held this year, although these are not always a harbinger of things to come. Democrats are hopeful 2018 will be kinder to them, as the party in power typically loses seats in midterm election
There are many problems for Democrats, not the least of which is that they are soooo filled with HATE. Hate does not sell, it’s not appealing for a political party.
They are more like a terrorist group, they can recruit thru hatred but their recruits are by definition unhinged - so you have a party of the unhinged - which they already have.

Not to mention their Presidential candidate being caught in criminal activity, other deceit, and lies, and the party being exposed as the fraud it is with voters responding accordingly.

What you would expect the losing side to always say. The truth is Trump is doing what he said he would do and all the while being attacked by the media, democrats, Rhino republicans like McCain, the Washington insiders and the deep state, and all would have claimed that Trump was on his way to defeat if the Georgia election had been lost. So Bloomberg is joined by all the other liars and the corrupt and democrat media and look like fools. These types of responses is why Trump will win even bigger in 2020.
The Democrat Party is built on a foundation of hate. The mortar binding that hate is a coalition of groups that honestly can’t stand one another all vying for a piece of the pie by seeing who can scream “woe is me” the loudest.
Actually the party not in the White House usually has the advantage.....not this time though so far.

The blue collar whites who voted for Obama in '08 and '12 and switched to Trump in '16. They used to be the backbone of the Democratic party.
It's entertaining to lurk over at DU and see this infighting first-hand between the people who want to win these white voters back and the far left who says, "We don't want a bunch of racist, homophobic Trumpers in our party!" and then promote a "marginalized groups" outreach strategy that will see them winning California by 5 million votes instead of 4.5 and lose the battleground states by even larger numbers.

The RATS thought they could keep the scam going but the election of President Trump has exposed the scam to all to see. These statements assume that the investigations continue and that those criminals in the gubermint who are committing fraud to hide the truth are also arrested and prosecuted. Draining the swamp is a serious understatement of the corruption in the gubermint.
