My daughter knows some of the neighborhood cats by name.
Here is Richy (last week):

Very thick fur but the softest I ever felt.

Richy is gray and so is the sidewalk there, which he kept laying down on with bicycles zooming by. After a few tries we finally succeeded is shooing him away.

Told my daughter Richy must think we are barbarians.
