I never heard of Basturma until today, when you introduced the topic. Thanks for that. I see it’s some sort of highly spiced, dry-cured meat. When I hear that description, I think of Beef Jerky. Is that what this tastes like?

Not really, it is a dry beef sausage, its supposedly derived from "pastrami" or the other way around. Really good by itself or scrambled as I mentioned. Hard to find at any regular super, try an ethnic store. Comes as a sausage link or a flattened loaf.
