SHERIFF CLARKE pulls out of DHS position

One of the toughest talking law enforcement officials in the U.S., Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke, has withdrawn his name from consideration for the role of deputy secretary at the Department of Homeland Security.
According to the Washington Post, a representative of Clarke’s told the paper that the sheriff had officially notified Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly he had rescinded his acceptance.
Sheriff Clarke was immediately attacked by liberals when he announced his new role at DHS last month. Claims that Clarke was a racist and a hater towards Muslims and Black Lives Matter sprung up across social media.

You’re exactly right. There has been a big push by local conservative groups the last 3 months to draft Clarke for the Senate race in Wisconsin.
I can’t help but think the dehydration death of the inmate had something to do with his decision.

I don’t know if ignoring is the way to go. I would do the exact opposite and if threatened, expose the threat. Let your supporters know that you are willing to serve under fire. They will follow you. That, I think, is why Trump Tweets.

Trump was rallying in Wisconsin last week. If his apprentice program is successful and grows from out of Wisconsin, someone with a recognizable name on the GOP ticket is in.
Could be the Sheriff found out what the DHS really intends to use those hollow points for and on who.
For a liberal, the record doesn’t seem to matter unless you get caught disposing of a corpse.
