Republicans/Democrats at this point what the hell is the difference.
“Republicans/Democrats at this point what the hell is the difference.”
Correct. Based on Congress’s behavior so far the GOP position on key issues of concern to conservatives is:
1). Healthcare: Obamacare in place or Ryancare. No market reforms.
2). Immigration. No funding of a wall. Keep the doors wide open for refugees.
3). Taxes. No meaningful reform and simplification. Keep the tax code complicated with thousands of pages of special provisions and loopholes.
4) Foreign affairs. Keep US troops spread around the world and continue meddling in the affairs of other nations.
5). Budget. Continue deficit spending. No cuts to the billions of dollars going to Democrat “non-profit” social activist organizations and liberal academic institutions. No meaningful cuts to the bloated bureaucracy. No termination of useless departments or failed programs.
6). Fiscal policy. Keep printing money to fund the ever increasing deficit.
7). Regulatory relief for large corporations.
8). Special favors for the donor class. That’s their job!
The GOP House has been fully funding the Democrat agenda and Democrat allied organizations since 2011. They didn’t stop with the election of a GOP Senate and President.
There is a big difference. When Democrats win, they govern and get their package approved. When Republicans win, Democrats guide the governing and will not allow the GOP to get their package approved. So why bother to vote Republican? I have no answer to that question. (Although I have never voted for a Democrat for President, Governor or Congress.)
Good question but Go Handel! anyway.
