FULL TITLE: Moment United Airlines worker pushed a grandfather, 71, to the GROUND and knocked him unconscious in the middle of the Houston airport

Just two months after witnesses recorded the moment a 69-year-old man was dragged off a United Airlines flight to make room for crew, a new video is threatening to embroil the airline in scandal once again.

The nearly three-minute video, obtained by KPRC, shows a United Airlines customer service representative pushing a 71-year-old man to the ground in front of the ticket counter and then leaving him to lay on the ground unconscious.

In fact, not a single United employee came to the man's aide. It was only when another passenger, a nurse catching a flight, stopped to help the man that an employee finally called 911 for help.

The victim, grandfather and frequent flyer Ronald Tigner, is now suing the airline and the employee who shoved him - Alejandro Anastasia - for negligence. He is seeking more than $1million in damages.

> “Think this will stop people from flying United Airlines? Nope. “

The flight reservation people have gotten sneaky lately. One reasonable price initially but cheaper (by 25%-35%) if you let them pick the airline (which will always be United).

Did you read the article? The perp was convicted of a minor felony assault only and sent for “Counseling for anger management”.

There is no reason the Court wouldn’t entertain punitive damages in this case should the jury request it, or the Judge decide to do so. It would never get that high, but it should the UA’s attention. :-)

Pretty much stupid and downright offensive isn’t it? He decked the guy and walked off leaving him laid out on the floor cold.

I’ve been on those floors many times. They are ancient terazzo type concrete.

*AND* 10 years, hard labor for anyone involved (”involved” meaning “did not try to stop incident” as it always should).

Punishments should be horrifying.
