Milennial aged teachers are incredibly informal and personally involved with their students. They all have email accounts that they use communicate with their students regularly. They treat their students like they are all friends. They have no concept of boundaries. It’s totally different than it was even in the 90’s when I was a student.

Quite true. Add to that is the fact that much of the teacher-student informality and social media interaction is actually encouraged or even expected by the school systems as a form of teaching.
