“She’s writing a book too.”

Yeah, real shy thing ain’t she.
Why, she had to watch Disney movies to get over the “humiliation” of injecting step dad’s body fluids into herself.
Then got paid 1,000 Pounds a month for the length of the pregnancy.

More than yesterdays fish smells here.

I’ve often observed that it would be much cheaper and more successful for the bio-dad to have sex the natural way with the gestational carrier. Of course, that would never fly when the g.c. is in India or Thailand: the bio-dads want white babies, not Asian ones.

That opens up a whole new can of worms. How many women would be okay with their husband having a possibly extended sexual fling hoping to get a baby out of the deal?
But morals don’t count for much these days it seems so who knows.
Brings to mind a Handmaids Tale type scenario.

I have a much younger cousin whose wife agreed to be the incubator for her sister who wasn’t producing eggs.
The docs harvested her eggs and introduced them to bio dad’s little swimmers in a lab then implanted the egg in her womb.
She gave birth and handed over the baby in the delivery room.
That was 20 years ago and she has regretted it every day.
She’s no longer close to her sister.

I ain’t a woman, but it seems to me that pregnancy is an intensely personal affair for a gal.
Must be hard to give up something you’ve carried and cared for for nine months. If you have a soul anyway.
JMHO.

Hahahaha...Mr. Turkey Baster!

OTOH, it is true that there are some women who are so fertile that if a man looks at them sideways, they might conceive...and couples who are having trouble...well, they can hang the woman upside down from her feet while they try to get an ovum to get fertilized, and even that won’t work!

(I have always avoided those women who get pregnant if you look sideways at them...I never had that much money!)

I know a couple who did try the hanging upside down trick. It didn’t work thankfully because neither were fit to be parents.

My grandmother was one who got pregnant every year and a half. She had ten children while suffering from leukemia. That was before anyone knew what leukemia was.
If she had been healthy I expect she might have had fifteen kids.

I have three myself and they were a handful!

We had six in our family, and my dad was away for a lot of the early years at sea...how my mom managed...I don’t know.

Frankly I think all such “alternate mother” machinations are wrong, on a number of grounds.

That does even get to all the millions of children in need of adoption.

Probably not many, which doesn't make much sense, if they're already "okay" with his jerking off while watching porn; buying eggs from a tall, blonde (poor) Ukrainian woman; renting a womb from a non-smoking (poor) Bengali woman; perhaps having one or more children killed if there are "too many" or possible "defects" ...

It's a filthy business.

Must be hard to give up something you’ve carried and cared for for nine months.

Officially, poor, brown women conveniently far away aren't entitled to souls, but occasionally, reports make it out about the deep unhappiness of women in India or Thailand who rent their wombs for rich, white people. Sometimes they even get to the keep the babies, if they are "imperfect" and the buyer refuses delivery.

Did I mention it's a filthy business?

It takes a good woman to do what your mother did. There are still a few here and there but not many.
Did she grow up in a largish family herself?

But there is no personal contact.
You go into a room, produce the desired fluid and hand it over to the medical personnel.
They then purchase the eggs through an agency, the lab handles the fertilization and implantation and nine months later the happy couple gets a kid.
NO human contact throughout the process.
It’s a PROCEDURE, like having a complete medical checkup.
Cold, clinical and out of sight.

Yes it is a filthy business.
I shudder to think of the lives wasted because too many eggs fertilized.
And when there are so many kids who are praying for someone to adopt them.

Italian/Armenian mix...four kids in hers. She and my dad stuck it out all those years until they fell in love again in their last decade of life, it was great to see.

Sigh. I sure do miss them both. I saw something the other day where they asked some celebrities who they would talk to if they had a chance. They all said the usual.

Sure, I wouldn’t mind talking to Churchill, Patton, or someone like that, but most of all, I would love to talk again with my Mom and Dad. How I miss them, and they have been gone a while now.

So many things I would ask them, but never thought to.

"But there is no personal contact."

I know what you mean ... it's at a safe distance, out of sight ... just as a "termination procedure" is clean and clinical, while "infanticide" is a real mess.

I have a sister in law who is a loser and a druggie.

She got pregnant cuz, well, she’s also a promiscuous whore.

She did the right thing though, and carried to term.

I and my wife adopted it straight from the vagina. It was still wet and goopy, even!

My loser sister in law does not regret it, as it gives her more free time and disposable income to do drugs. We on the other hand got a perfect baby girl.

It was a win win, really.

I’ve seen older couples like that. Spent so much time raising the family they didn’t have time for each other.
Then When the kids are grown and gone they realize why they got married in the first place. A beautiful thing.

My mom is still with me but my dad is gone.
I would love to have the chance to ask him all the things I never did.
Or maybe just let him talk and I shut up and listen.

“. just as a “termination procedure” is clean and clinical, while “infanticide” is a real mess”

It’s all in the terminology, and the left knows it. Thats why they try so hard to use soft, non-threatening words to describe something brutal and ugly.

Good for you!
It’s the trifecta.
The SIL got her freedom, you got a daughter and your daughter got a life with a loving family.

Feel good story of the week.
Thank you for sharing.
