My daughter is going through this right now. Pretty girl, straight A student in all advanced classes, has an online business creating logos and brands, accomplished artist, enjoys karate, archery, and target shooting, and has never given me a moment of worry. Doesn’t drink, smoke, do drugs or fool around. Believes in God, regularly attends church, and is a strong political conservative.
Just a few weeks ago she told me that she is more attracted to girls than boys and wants to become a man. She sobbed, anguished, because she is afraid that God will hate her now. My husband and I are trying to approach this all with love and patience, telling her to wait until she is an adult and on her own before attempting any transition. If she was an unloved troublemaker looking for attention or a purpose, maybe I could understand it, but she’s very accomplished and our children have always been the priority of our lives. Pray for parents and kids in this situation, it’s like living in an alternate reality overnight.
I’m getting her into counseling. She asked me yo go with her. Pray that I can help her heal and find peace with how God made her.
Admiration sometimes gets tangled up with and mistaken for sexual attraction in teens, especially now that it’s practically lionized and encouraged. God will never hate her but some behaviors are sinful and will lead to an eternity separated from God. This, I believe, is one of those behaviors. She’s too young to be tormenting herself over this, she wouldn’t really know who she is yet even without beginning to have doubts in a sexual sense. Even if she does turn out to be sexually attracted to other females she can live a Godly life by not acting upon it. Teen years are drama years, everything is new to them and therefore a very big deal, so tread carefully. You have my sympathy and prayers.

I know teachers who report seeing significant peer pressure among adolescents to be Bi or Gay or tran etc.
The ideas often get planted by parents, and sometimes unfortunately teachers, who then turn the kids into activists who plant ideas and pressure other kids to believe and behave accordingly. It’s the psychological warfare envisioned by Cultural Marxists.
