I’m looking for a true nightscope....no ambient light....
Gen1 is useless. Gen2 is good, and gen 3 and above are only slightly better than Gen2 but extremely expensive. Problem is they are fragile and have a limited life. Thermals are more resilient but do you cnanot see through windows or rain with them.
